In their application to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the words "metropolitan territories" in Article 11, paragraph 1, of the Agreement no longer have their original sense but shall be deemed to signify "European Territory" in view of the equality existing in public law between the Netherlands, Surinam and the Netherlands West Indies.
