In order to ensure the strength and legitimacy of the Court, States should contact their national bar associations and request them to designate a co-ordinator/liaison for interested defence attorneys in that State. The co-ordinator/liaison could establish a relationship with the International Criminal Defence Attorneys Association (ICDAA) who would be prepared to assist with training for pro-spective defence attorneys to ensure they understand the operation of the ICC.
