In accordance with the provisions of Article 2, paragraph 2, of the Outline Convention, the Principality of Monaco specifies that the scope of application of the Convention is limited to the municipality of Monaco, Monaco's territory being one municipality whose limits correspond to the State borders. The Principality intends to limit the scope of application of the co-operation to the following object, within the competences of the Town Council of Monaco: organisation of cultural, recreational, artistic and leisure events.
