In accordance with Article 18.1 (Appendix II), Spain derogates from the provisions of Article 10, paragraph 2 declaring that one half of any private insurance premiums will be covered by the receiving family and that, before the conclusion of the agreement, this should be brought to the attention of any person interested in an "au pair" placement.
