With the exception of a copy of any written decision referred to in paragraph 2 of Article 16, the documents connected with the application of the Convention which are drafted in a language other than Danish, English, Norwegian or Swedish, shall be accompanied by a translation into English or Swedish (paragraph 2 of Article 18).

In accordance with Article 18, paragraph 2, of the Convention, the Republic of Macedonia declares that requests and any other documents related to them which are not drawn up in one of the official languages of the Council of Europe shall be accompanied by a translation into the English or French language.

In conformity with Article 41, the Turkish Government will avail itself of the reservations provided for in paragraphs a and f of Appendix I to this Convention.

Reservation contained in a second letter from the Permanent Representative of Turkey, dated 27 October 1978, handed to the Secretary General at the time of deposit of the instrument of ratification, on the same day - Or. Fr.
The Government of Turkey, while ratifying the European Convention on the Transfer of Proceedings in Criminal Matters, declares that it does not consider itself bound to carry out the provisions of the said Convention in relation to the Greek Cypriot Administration, which is not constitutionally entitled to represent alone the Republic of Cyprus.
[The Notification of the above reservation mentioned the Decision taken by the Committee of Ministers in February 1976, at the 254th meeting of the Ministers' Deputies. This Decision concerns an identical reservation, made by the Turkish Government when ratifying seven conventions and agreements on 19 December 1975, and reads as follows:
