relevant military-purpose products and their technical documentation to third countries.
Article 10
To verify availability and designated use of manufactured military-purpose products at storage sites or military units, the authorized body of the Russian Party not later than 30 days prior to the scheduled date of verification shall send to the Jordanian party an appropriate request specifying nomenclature of military-purpose products to be verified, desired dates of verification, list of the verification team members, as well as list of technical means to be used during the verification. The number of verification team members, as a rule, should not exceed 5 persons, unless the Parties agree otherwise.
The Jordanian party within 15 days after receipt of the request but no later than 5 days prior to the expected date of verification shall notify the Russian Party about its readiness for verification and shall designate the exact date of its commencement. In exceptional cases, the Jordanian party may request the Russian Party to defer the date of verification.
The Jordanian party shall nominate representatives (a representative) of its authorized body for the period of verification by the Russian Party of availability and designated use of manufactured military-purpose products, shall ensure that the verification team is received at the point of entry, escorted to the verification site and to the point of exit, as well as shall ensure safety of restricted use documents and imported technical means, security of the verification team members, provide normal conditions for their work and accommodation, including meals, medical support, transportation, means of international (domestic long distance) telecommunications directly from the verification site and, at the request of the verification team chief, assist, if possible, in providing such communications at any other place.
Expenses for providing transportation and communications for the verification team in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan shall be paid by the Jordanian Party.
Expenses for transportation tickets, accommodation, including meals, medical support and international telecommunication shall be paid by the Russian Party.
Article 11
Results of the performed verification of availability and designated use of manufactured military-purpose products shall be documented in the bilateral Report that shall specify the following:
Composition of the Verification Team and representatives of the authorized body of the Jordanian Party;
Documents on the basis of which the verification was carried out (request for verification and verification permission notification);
The goals of the verification and facilities to be inspected;
Dates of verification;
Results of verification.
The Report shall be drawn up in two originals, each in the Russian, Arabic and English languages, all texts being equally authentic. All copies shall be signed by a verification team chief and a representative of the authorized body of the Jordanian Party. In case of any disagreements regarding the interpretation of this Report and any other disputes that may arise, the text in the English language shall prevail.
Article 12
Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, nothing herein shall prejudice any international treaties entered into by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Russian Federation, and/or any contracts entered into by the Parties and/or authorized organizations, definite authorized bodies of the Parties as well as other organizations, with which contracts were concluded prior to signing this Agreement. All rights and obligations under previously signed agreements and/or contracts shall remain without changes and shall not be affected by this Agreement.
