operation between the Parties or other information about the cooperation shall be notified in advance by one Party to the other Party.
Article 8
The Parties acknowledge that the military purpose products, technical documentation and information received, used and transferred within the framework of this Agreement may constitute or contain results of intellectual activity the rights for which belong to the Russian Federation.
The Jordanian Party shall provide protection of the rights for results of intellectual activity used and gained in the process of fulfillment of this Agreement, and shall take measures to prevent illicit use of these results in accordance with the legislation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and international treaties signed by the Parties.
Procedures of use and protection of the rights for the results of intellectual activity, used and gained during the implementation of this Agreement, shall be implemented in accordance with the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on mutual protection of rights for results of intellectual activity used and received in the process of bilateral military-technical cooperation of October 25, 2008.
Article 9
The Russian Party shall have the right to verify, in the established order, in the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan the availability and designated use of military-purpose products manufactured within the framework of this Agreement.
The Jordanian Party shall ensure possibility and provide necessary conditions for the Russian Party to conduct such verification.
Verification of availability and designated use of military-purpose products manufactured within the framework of this Agreement shall be performed by way of:
Annual reports by the Jordanian Party to the Russian Party about availability and designated use of manufactured military-purpose products, as well as their decommissioning due to damage of the equipment which made its further operation impossible. The consent to decommission manufactured military-purpose products shall be given by the authorized body of the Russian Party based on verification of justification of such decommissioning. Disposal of manufactured military-purpose products shall be made in coordination with the Russian Party;
Urgent submission of information by the Jordanian Party to the Russian Party about loss, theft or illicit alienation of manufactured military-purpose products (with indication of nomenclature and serial numbers of the component parts supplied from the Russian Federation);
Non-recurrent activities upon the requests of the Russian Party, including:
Verification of availability and designated use of manufactured military-purpose products through submission by the Jordan Party of official records and other materials about availability of manufactured military-purpose products (with indication of nomenclature and serial numbers);
Verification of availability and designated use of manufactured military-purpose products at storage sites or military units in the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as verification of compliance of nomenclature and serial numbers of military-purpose products, which are in use by operating organizations of the Jordanian party, with specified official reports and other materials.
By mutual agreement of the Parties, verification of official reports and other materials can be carried out through exchange of relevant documents without visits to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In the course of the verification, at the request of the Russian Party, the Jordanian party shall submit required documentation related to the manufactured military-purpose products to be verified, including contracts for delivery of the
