ески продлевается на последующие 5-летние периоды, если ни одна из Сторон не уведомит по дипломатическим каналам в письменной форме другую Сторону не менее чем за 6 месяцев до истечения первоначального или любого последующего периода о своем намерении прекратить его действие.
3. Прекращение действия настоящего Соглашения не затрагивает выполнения программ и проектов, начатых в период его действия и не завершенных к моменту прекращения действия настоящего Соглашения, если Стороны не договорятся об ином.
4. В случае прекращения действия настоящего Соглашения обязательства Сторон, предусмотренные в статьях 7, 8, 9 и 10 настоящего Соглашения, остаются в силе, если Стороны не договорятся об ином.
5. В настоящее Соглашение могут вноситься изменения с письменного согласия Сторон.
Совершено в г. Анкаре 6 августа 2009 г. в трех экземплярах, каждый на русском, турецком и английском языках, причем все тексты имеют одинаковую силу. В случае расхождений в толковании текстов используется текст на английском языке.

AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY FOR COOPERATION
IN THE USE OF NUCLEAR ENERGY FOR PEACEFUL PURPOSES
(Ankara, 6.VIII.2009)
The Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Turkey (hereinafter referred to as the "Parties"),
Based on friendly relations existing between the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Turkey,
Recognizing that the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey are the Member-States of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the parties to the Treaty on Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), done on July 1, 1968, as well as members of the Nuclear Suppliers Group,
Seeking to develop mutually beneficial economic and technical relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey on the basis of equality, non-interference into the interior affairs and sovereignty of both States,
Emphasizing the importance of cooperation in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and assurance of nuclear and radiation safety,
Have agreed as follows:
Article 1
The Parties in accordance with the legislation and international obligations of their respective States, shall develop scientific, technical and economic cooperation in the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes in accordance with the needs and priorities of their national nuclear programs.
The provisions of this Agreement shall not affect the rights and obligations of each Party under other international agreements related to the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes to which its State is a party.
The definitions of the terms which are used in this Agreement are in full consistency with terminology accepted by the IAEA.
Article 2
The Parties shall cooperate in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy in the following areas:
1. Scientific research and developments in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy;
2. Controlled fusion;
3. Designing, construction, commissioning, operation and modernization, testing and maintenance as well as decommissioning of nuclear power and research reactors;
4. Supply of nuclear materials including fuel assemblies and equipment for nuclear power and research reactors and provision of nuclear fuel cycle services and other services related to activities within the frame of this Agreement;
5. Exploration and development of uranium deposits;
6. Development, design and manufacturing of components and production of materials including nuclear materials n
